Landscape Maintenance Lead

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, level-headed individual to join our small landscaping company as a Landscape Maintenance Lead.

Work consists of maintaining a variety of residential properties throughout Upcountry Maui and the North Shore, generally 4–5 days per week.

Starting Pay: $28–32/hr depending on experience and ability.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous landscape maintenance experience
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Experience leading or training others
• Interest in organic gardening and sustainable landscape practices
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Good physical condition and ability to perform outdoor work
• Ability to safely operate landscaping equipment
• Dependable attendance and punctuality

After a training period working alongside the owner, you will be responsible for managing landscape maintenance routes with one or two helpers.

Typical duties include:

• Operating zero-turn mowers
• Mowing and weed whacking
• Hedging and pruning
• Weeding and garden maintenance
• Basic irrigation troubleshooting and repairs
• Driving trucks and trailers
• Organic pest and weed management
• General landscape improvement projects

Previous landscape maintenance experience is required. Advanced irrigation and management experience are a plus, but we are willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic, good attitude, and desire to grow.
