LANDSCAPER

LANDSCAPERS are responsible for maintaining and improving outdoor spaces, including residential, commercial, and public properties. This role involves planting, mowing, trimming, irrigation, hardscaping, and ensuring that grounds are well-kept, healthy, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, and shrubs through mowing, trimming, pruning, watering, and fertilizing.
Design and install landscaping layouts, including plants, walkways, retaining walls, and decorative features.
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems.
Remove weeds, debris, and dead plants to maintain clean and attractive grounds.
Install and repair irrigation systems and ensure proper watering schedules.
Apply pesticides and fertilizers safely according to environmental standards.
Identify and address plant health issues such as pests and diseases.
Work with clients or supervisors to discuss project plans, budgets, and improvements.
Maintain safety procedures and equipment in compliance with company and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or horticulture preferred.
Knowledge of local plant species, soil types, and seasonal maintenance practices.
Ability to operate landscaping tools and machinery safely.
Physical ability to perform outdoor, manual labor in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Exposure to weather, noise, and machinery.
Early morning or seasonal work schedules may be required.
