Landscaping Foreman

Duties:

Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, including planting, lawn care, pruning, and irrigation system installation
Lead landscaping and construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion within budget and specifications
Oversee landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, fertilizing, and pest control to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
Manage team schedules, assign tasks, and provide hands-on training to develop skills and promote safety awareness
Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards and client expectations
Maintain equipment, tools, and supplies; oversee routine maintenance and proper usage
Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and other contractors to facilitate smooth project execution
Skills

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping design, or construction projects
Strong supervising skills with the ability to lead teams effectively in outdoor environments
Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing, fertilization, aeration, and pest management
Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
Experience with tree care techniques such as pruning, cabling, or removal
Understanding of horticulture principles related to plant health and garden management
Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork, accountability, and safety compliance
Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to operate or oversee the use of landscaping machinery and tools effectively
