Landscapist (Landscape Technician)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Landscapist (Landscape Technician) to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation for nature and a keen eye for design, capable of transforming outdoor spaces into beautiful and functional landscapes. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This is not Just a mow, trim, blow position. We service Maui's Nicest landscapes, all of which are Upcountry. (It's cooler up here!)

Responsibilities

Experienced preferred BUT not necessary.
Position includes Knowing / learning how to be skilled with the trimmer (weed whipper) to create beautiful lawn care.
Our accounts include amazing gardens that are artistic in nature. Attention to detail will determine the overall pay.
Maintain landscapes by performing tasks such as mowing, pruning, weeding, and fertilizing.
Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert recommendations.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and best practices in landscaping.
Keep tools and equipment in good working condition; perform routine maintenance as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in landscaping or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Knowledge of plant species, landscape design principles, and maintenance techniques is a plus.
Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers safely.
Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to adapt designs based on site conditions.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

REQUIREMENTS:

Valid Drivers license (with clean history)
Transportation to Upcountry daily. We meet in Pukalani.
US Citizen or Green Card - No Criminal History
Monday thru Friday, 9am-5pm. All Weekends OFF.
