-We are a 20-year-old, family-owned, fully attended laundromat serving the Charlotte area and are looking for an Operations & Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our store.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
-Delivering an Outstanding Customer Experience
-You’ll ensure every customer experiences a clean, friendly, safe and professionally operated laundromat by:
-Greeting and assisting customers
-Helping customers use washers, dryers and laundry card equipment
-Resolving customer concerns professionally
-Maintaining our high standards for safety, cleanliness and organization
-Creating a welcoming environment where customers enjoy doing business with us
Lead and Develop Our Team
-You’ll supervise a team of 3–4 attendants and help create a positive, accountable workplace.
-Responsibilities include:
--Employee scheduling
--Hiring and onboarding new employees
--Training and coaching team members
--Monitoring performance
--Enforcing company policies consistently
--Leading by example
--Building a culture of teamwork, professionalism and accountability
Oversee Wash-Dry-Fold Operations
--You’ll manage both individual customer orders and commercial laundry accounts by ensuring:
--High-quality standards
--Accurate order completion
--Efficient workflow
--Excellent customer communication
--On-time completion
Perform Equipment Maintenance & Repairs
-This is one of the most important parts of the position.
-We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work and has good mechanical aptitude.
-You’ll be expected to:
--Troubleshoot washers, dryers and related equipment
--Perform routine preventative maintenance
--Replace common components such as switches, valves, igniters and similar parts
--Use hand tools and small power tools safely and effectively
--Identify potential equipment problems before they become major repairs
--Coordinate larger repairs with outside service providers when appropriate
--Previous laundromat experience is not required, however, mechanical aptitude, curiosity, and a willingness to learn are essential.
Manage Daily Operations
-You’ll also oversee many of the day-to-day business functions including:
--Inventory management
--Ordering store and vending supplies
--Petty cash accountability
--Vending inventory
--Store appearance
--Safety inspections
--Preventative maintenance schedules
--Process improvements
--Operational efficiency
Schedule
-This is a full-time leadership position averaging 40–45 hours per week.
-Most shifts are worked alongside an attendant, but the position also includes 1–2 independent shifts each week, where you’ll oversee store operations, assist customers, and make decisions independently.
-Some weekend work is required, but not every weekend.
