OCX LANDSCAPING – ROUTE CREW LEADER
OCX Landscaping is a veteran-owned lawn care company serving Owens Cross Roads & Big Cove, Alabama. We are looking for ONE dependable, experienced Route Crew Leader to help run our Saturday lawn-care route.
This is a Saturday-only position, approximately 4–8 hours per week. It’s a good fit for someone with lawn-care experience who wants consistent weekend work and the opportunity to take on more responsibility as we grow.
💰 PAY: $18–$20/HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE
📅 SCHEDULE: SATURDAYS ONLY
⏱ HOURS: APPROXIMATELY 4–8 HOURS PER SATURDAY
THE ROLE
As Route Crew Leader, you’ll help lead a small crew and make sure our Saturday route is completed efficiently and to OCX standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Mowing with zero-turn and push mowers
- String trimming
- Metal edging
- Blowing and complete property cleanup
- Keeping the crew moving efficiently between properties
- Making sure each property meets OCX quality standards
- Properly operating and caring for lawn equipment
- Occasional light landscaping and yard cleanup
- Professional communication with customers when needed
- Previous professional lawn-care experience strongly preferred
- Crew-lead or leadership experience is a plus
- Must have your own reliable truck
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be dependable and show up on time
- Comfortable operating zero-turn mowers, push mowers, string trimmers, edgers and blowers
- Able to work outdoors in Alabama weather and perform physical work
- Good communication skills
- Must take pride in clean, professional work
This is currently ONE Saturday Route Crew Leader opening. Additional hours and responsibilities may become available as OCX Landscaping continues to grow.
