Job Title: Lawn Care Technician

Position Type: Part-Time to Full-Time (Seasonal Starting in March)
Schedule: Tuesday through Friday (32–40 hours per week)
Additional Hours: Possible extended days and/or weekend work based on workload and seasonal demand

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Lawn Care Technician to join our team beginning in March. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. The ideal candidate will have prior hands-on experience in professional lawn care and be comfortable operating and maintaining commercial landscaping equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform lawn maintenance services including mowing, edging, trimming, thatching, and aeration

Operate and maintain lawn care equipment such as commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, aerators, and other related tools

Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation

Follow assigned routes and schedules to complete services in a timely manner

Maintain clean and professional job sites

Adhere to all company safety standards and procedures

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Work Environment

This is a physically demanding outdoor position. Employees must be able to work in various weather conditions, including rain, sleet, snow, heat, humidity, and other seasonal elements. The role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating equipment for extended periods.

Qualifications

Prior experience in professional lawn care or landscaping (required)

Proficiency in mowing, thatching, aerating, and general lawn maintenance practices

Experience operating and maintaining commercial lawn care equipment

Valid driver’s license (required)

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Strong reliability and punctuality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 50+ pounds

Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday

Ability to work 30–40 hours per week consistently
