Daedalus Design Build Seeking Carpenter

Design and Construction firm seeking a lead carpenter with a minimum of 10 years experience. Daedalus Design Build specializes in high end additions, new construction and adaptive renovations of existing structures. Applicant must be comfortable working in all phases of construction and possess comprehensive carpentry skills. We are seeking applicants who are familiar with green construction concepts and practices and have an interest in seeing those ideas applied to high quality building projects.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: Effectively communicating project details with clients and co-workers, worksite maintenance, and independently carrying out and managing tasks. Project management experience a considerable plus. Applicant must have strong verbal communications skills. Reliable transportation and basic tools required. Base salary is $30-$35/hr for carpentry, potentially higher with project management experience.
