Lead Carpenter / Builder — Sheds, Decks, Fences & Custom Projects.

We run a few businesses out here — wildfire contracting is our main gig, plus Airbnbs and other properties that always need something built, repaired, or upgraded. Sheds, fences, decks, small structures, remodels — steady, varied work year-round.

What makes this job different:

• We mill our own lumber. We have a sawmill on site and plenty of logs, so you'll often build with material we cut ourselves.
• We give you the goal — you refine the design, figure out the details, and get it done.
• Good crew. We genuinely enjoy each other and the work. Hardworking, friendly, no drama, no micromanaging.

Who we're looking for:

• Someone with the skills to build most of a house from the ground up — framing, siding, roofing, decks, doors and windows, basic finish work
• Independent and self-managing — you can take a project from rough idea to finished without hand-holding
• Comfortable solving problems in the field and adapting designs as you go
• Reliable transportation to the Fall Creek area

Big plus if you have:

• SketchUp or drafting experience
• Experience with rough-cut / milled lumber
• Basic concrete, electrical, or plumbing skills

We already have most of the tools and a team with a deep skill set to back you up.

Schedule: M-F 9-5 with some flexibility.
