Lead Carpenter/ Construction Right hand man

We are an established general contracting business seeking a reliable, highly skilled Lead Carpenter / Working Foreman to act as a right-hand man for residential duplex renovations.In this role, you will run the day-to-day work on-site, manage project timelines, and lead/mentor a general laborer so ownership can focus on broader business operations. This is a long-term position with a steady, multi-property pipeline. Primary Work Area: Main job sites for the next 6 months are located in Hoosick Falls and Cambridge, NY. Occasional projects will occur outside this primary area. Core Responsibilities: Lead complete residential renovations from start to finish (framing, drywall, trim, kitchens, baths, basic plumbing/electrical).Manage the daily project timeline on-site to ensure milestones are met. Direct, mentor, and work alongside a general laborer to keep the job moving safely and efficiently.Requirements: Deep residential construction experience: You must be able to walk onto a job site and confidently handle structural or finish work without supervision. Valid driver’s license and reliable truck/vehicle. Your own standard hand and power tools. Strong communication skills and a reliable, professional, drug-free work ethic. What We Offer: Consistent full-time schedule (Monday through Friday, no weekends).Steady, year-round work on a continuous pipeline of properties. Weekly pay based on experience.
