Lead Carpenter needed

Mindel and Morse Builders is looking for a lead carpenter.

Ideally, you are experienced as a lead carpenter but, if not, you must be a seasoned carpenter who can work independently from start to finish on a variety of tasks and enjoys the new challenges that come with every project. You are looking forward to leading a team of carpenters with different levels of experience and helping them produce great work and grow their skills on the job.

We are looking for a person who
-has a minimum of 7+ years of experience in carpentry
-can work off architectural drawings
-can allocate work among carpenters and apprentice carpenters
-can ensure safe and efficient execution of all carpentry tasks producing the highest quality
-can check all carpenters’ and apprentice carpenters’ work for safety, quality, and efficiency
-can track progression of skills of carpenters and apprentice carpenters and share observations with the production manager
-has great organizational skills
-communicates clearly, directly, and professionally
-cherishes lifelong learning and a clean job site
-believes that teamwork makes the dream work
-is comfortable teaching skills to others
-is able to lift 50 lbs
