Lead Carpenter / Site Forman

Description

Pelletier Construction Group is a residential remodeling general
contractor serving Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, and the greater
Eastside and King County. We build high-quality remodels and decks for homeowners
across King County. Our reputation is built on craftsmanship,
organization, and finishing what we start.

We're hiring our first Lead Carpenter / Site Superintendent — a true
bags-on field leader who can run a jobsite, self-perform across every
phase of a remodel, manage subs and materials, and drive projects to a
clean finish. This is a hands-on role for a skilled all-arounder who
takes pride in owning the work, not just directing it.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Run active jobsites day to day — sequence the work, hold schedule and
budget, and carry projects through to a finished, client-ready result.
- Self-perform across all phases: framing, drywall and drywall repair,
siding repair and patching, cabinet installation, trim and finish
carpentry, basic painting, and deck building.

  • Complete smaller stand-alone jobs start to finish, largely on your own.
  • Source, order, and pick up materials so the crew and subs are never
waiting on you.
- Schedule, coordinate, and hold subcontractors accountable to scope,
quality, and timeline.
  • Fill the gaps between subs — the in-between work that keeps a job moving.
  • Keep every site clean, safe, and professional, and represent the
company well to homeowners.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 5+ years residential carpentry / remodeling with real range, from
framing through finish.
- Scaled across the trade: framing, drywall and repair, siding, cabinet
install, trim and finish, basic painting, and decks.
- Proven ability to run a jobsite and coordinate subs without daily
hand-holding.
- Valid Washington driver's license and a clean enough driving record to
be insured on a company vehicle.
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable being the most senior person
on site.

  • Able to handle the physical demands of construction work.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
BONUS POINTS

  • Higher-end or custom Eastside remodel experience.
  • Comfortable reading plans and doing basic material takeoffs.
  • Familiar with construction PM software (JobTread a plus).
  • Knows local permitting and inspection rhythms across King County.
  • Have working relationships with sub contractors
COMPENSATION

  • $35-40/hour DOE — full-time, W-2.
  • Company van, tools, and fuel provided.
