Lead Carpenter / Site Lead

Broomhead Building & Remodeling is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter / Site Lead to join our growing team. We specialize in high-end residential remodeling, renovations, and custom carpentry projects throughout Rhode Island.

The ideal candidate is a skilled carpenter who can work closely with ownership to help manage projects, maintain quality standards, and represent the company professionally on job sites. This individual will serve as the primary field contact when ownership is not on-site and help ensure projects remain organized, productive, and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with ownership to execute residential remodeling projects
• Oversee day-to-day job site operations and project progress
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for homeowners when ownership is unavailable
• Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and pickups
• Track receipts and project-related expenses
• Maintain project schedules, organization, and quality standards
• Identify and communicate project issues proactively
• Perform frame-to-finish carpentry work
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional job site

Requirements:

• 8+ years of residential remodeling and carpentry experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Professional demeanor and customer-service mindset
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects in the field
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Own hand tools

Compensation:
Full-time W-2 employee position. Compensation will be discussed based on experience and qualifications.
