Lead Commercial Roof Technician

Weatherlock Roof Systems is growing our commercial service and maintenance division, Weatherlock MAX, and we’re looking for a Lead Commercial Roof Technician to help us build it the right way.

This is not a production roofing position. The focus is commercial roof service, leak investigation, repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, and helping customers extend the life of their existing roof systems.

We’re looking for someone who can walk onto a commercial roof, diagnose a problem, communicate clearly, document what they find, and take ownership of getting the issue resolved.

What you’ll be doing:

• Diagnose and repair commercial roof leaks
• Perform preventative maintenance and roof repairs
• Complete half-day, full-day, and time-and-material service work
• Inspect and assess commercial roofing systems
• Document conditions, repairs, and recommendations using our systems
• Communicate professionally with property managers, building owners, and our internal team
• Lead a two-person commercial service crew
• Help establish the standards and processes for Weatherlock MAX

Experience with commercial roofing systems such as TPO, PVC, EPDM, modified bitumen, built-up roofing, shingle roofing and metal roofing is important.

Compensation:
$28–$42/hour, based on commercial roofing experience, service knowledge, and ability to independently diagnose and manage commercial roof repairs.
