Lead Foreman / Site Supervisor – High-End Custom Homes

Blue Anchor Building Company is hiring! We are an established, high-end residential builder based in Sausalito, specializing in luxury custom homes and complex architectural builds throughout the Bay Area.

We are looking for a versatile Working Superintendent / Lead Foreman who thrives in the space between hands-on execution and high-level site management.

If you are a master carpenter who can strap on a toolbelt to lead complex framing or finish work, but also has the organizational skills to run a luxury job site, manage subcontractors, and talk to architects—this is the role for you.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Site Management: Oversee daily on-site operations, keeping the project on schedule, on budget, and up to our elite quality standards.

Hands-On Leadership: Work alongside our in-house carpentry and labor crews. Lead and direct the execution of complex layout, framing, and fine finish carpentry.

Subcontractor Coordination: Schedule, manage, and hold specialized trades accountable.

Plan Reading: Read and interpret highly complex architectural drawings, structural plans, and shop drawings. Spot problems before they happen.

Communication: Act as the on-site point of contact for homeowners, architects, interior designers, and our project managers.

Site Logistics: Order materials, manage inventory, maintain an impeccably clean site, and keep daily logs using project management software (Procore, BuilderTrend, etc.).

WHAT YOU NEED:

Experience: 5–7+ years in high-end, custom residential construction as a Lead Carpenter, Foreman, or Superintendent.

Skillset: Expert-level residential carpentry skills (rough framing to high-end finish).

Knowledge: Deep understanding of Bay Area building codes, structural concrete, steel, and high-end mechanical systems.

Tools/Transport: Valid driver’s license, reliable truck/transportation, and your own hand and power tools.

Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using an iPad/smartphone/laptop for daily logs, emails, and scheduling software.

Physical: Ability to perform demanding physical labor and lift 50+ lbs regularly.
