Lead Framing Carpenter

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Framing Carpenter to lead a team of 4 framers specializing in custom home construction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of beautiful, custom residential homes while honing your carpentry skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We build custom homes in the twin cities area including Edina and Minnetonka

Duties:

Frame walls, floors, roofs, and ceilings using hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, and nail guns.
Perform roofing tasks including truss installation and sheathing to ensure structural integrity.
Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation and material handling while maintaining a clean work environment.
Collaborate with construction management teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Requirements:

Proven experience in frame carpentry within residential construction environments
Strong knowledge of residential building blueprints, framing, decking, and window installation
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Physical stamina for heavy lifting, climbing ladders, working at heights, and long hours on-site
Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and teamwork
Strong English speaking skills or bilingual.
Reliable transportation
