Pay: $28.00–$35.00 per hour DOE

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Hardwood Flooring Installer / Crew Lead who can independently manage hardwood flooring projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both installation and sanding/finishing, strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality.
This position is responsible for overseeing projects, leading team members, communicating with clients and contractors, and ensuring that every project meets Focus Hardwood's standards.
We are not seeking subcontractors.
Schedule:
Full-time
Monday through Friday
Overtime opportunities available
Occasional overnight travel projects
Responsibilities:
Lead hardwood flooring installation and refinishing projects
Perform site layout, installation, sanding, staining, and finishing
Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient project completion
Communicate professionally with homeowners, contractors, and project managers
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Troubleshoot jobsite challenges and provide solutions
Ensure projects are completed to company quality standards
Manage project timelines and daily workflow
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of hardwood flooring installation and finishing experience
Strong knowledge of hardwood flooring products, installation methods, sanding systems, stains, and finishes
Experience operating sanding equipment and applying stains and finish systems
Previous team leadership experience preferred
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Professional attitude and appearance
Ability to manage projects independently
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation
Must own necessary flooring tools and equipment
Ability to pass a background check

Compensation & Benefits:
$28.00–$35.00 per hour DOE
Performance reviews at 30 and 90 days with opportunities for advancement
Exceptional candidates may be eligible for higher compensation following a successful evaluation period
