Lead Remodeler / Project Manager

Homework Remodels is looking for a hands-on remodeling professional who is ready to take greater responsibility for leading residential remodeling projects. You should already have practical remodeling experience, your own professional tools, and reliable transportation. You do not need to know everything—but you must be dependable, willing to learn, and committed to continually improving your craft.

This is not a desk-based project management position. You will work in the field, lead and perform daily jobsite activities, coordinate subcontractors and materials, perform remodeling work when needed, and help carry each project successfully from construction startup through completion.

What You Will Do

As a Lead Remodeler / Project Leader, you will be the onsite leader of assigned residential remodeling projects. You will:

• Review plans, specifications, selections, and project requirements
• Plan daily jobsite activities and coordinate subcontractors, inspections, materials, and deliveries
• Perform skilled remodeling work where needed to keep projects moving
• Monitor schedules and communicate potential delays before they become larger problems
• Inspect work for quality, accuracy, and compliance with the project plans
• Protect our clients’ homes and maintain a safe, clean, and professional jobsite
• Communicate respectfully with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and our design team
• Complete required project documentation and lead each project through its punch list and successful completion

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

• Has hands-on residential remodeling or construction experience
• Understands the sequence of work involved in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home renovations
• Can read plans, follow written scopes, recognize quality workmanship, and solve field problems
• Owns and maintains the professional tools needed for the work
• Has reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
• Works independently, stays organized, and follows through on commitments
• Is comfortable working in occupied homes and understands the importance of protecting the client’s property
• Communicates clearly and works productively with clients, coworkers, and trade partners
• Is willing to learn new methods, products, systems, and leadership skills
