About the Position:

Modern Concepts is growing and looking for a highly skilled Lead Remodeler / Finish Carpenter who takes pride in craftsmanship and has strong experience in both finish carpentry and residential framing.

This is a leadership role for an experienced professional who can confidently lead projects, coordinate with subcontractors, take full ownership of their job sites, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes

What You'll Be Responsible For:

• Finish Carpentry: Perform high-quality trim work, molding, door installations, stair systems, railings, and other detailed finish work.
• Residential Framing: Complete framing for residential renovations, including walls, openings, and structural modifications according to project plans.

• Project Leadership: Independently lead carpentry projects, supervise and train team members, and ensure work meets company standards.
• Problem-Solving & Quality Control: Identify and resolve on-site challenges while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.

- Job Site Professionalism: Maintain clean, organized job sites, protect homeowners' property, and communicate professionally with clients.

Must Have Experience In:

• Finish carpentry & detailed trim work
• Residential framing
• Kitchen & bathroom remodeling
• Oak stairs, treads, risers & finish work
• Railings & baluster systems
• Reading plans & coordinating project schedules
• Identifying problems before they become expensive mistakes

-Leading projects & coordinating subcontractors

Bonus Skills:

• Cabinet installation
• Drywall installation & finishing
• Custom woodworking & millwork
• Experience with high-end residential renovations

• Someone with framing experience but limited finish carpentry skills.
• Someone who requires constant supervision or direction.
• Someone who compromises quality to finish a job faster.

Requirements

• 8+ years of remodeling experience preferred
• Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
• Strong finish carpentry skills
• Must be dependable and professional
• Must be comfortable working in occupied homes
