Lead Restoration Technician – Water, Mold & Environmental Remediation
Triangle Restoration – Denver Metro Area, CO
Pay: $23.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications
Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
*Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license*
Triangle Restoration is seeking an experienced Lead Restoration Technician to help manage water mitigation, mold remediation, selective demolition, and environmental cleanup projects throughout the Denver metro area.
We are looking for someone who can do more than perform demolition. The right candidate should understand professional restoration procedures, job-site containment, equipment setup, documentation, customer communication, and how to safely lead another technician in the field.
Responsibilities:
-Lead water mitigation and mold remediation projects in the field
-Direct and work alongside restoration technicians
-Set up containment, critical barriers, decontamination areas, and negative-air systems
-Perform selective demolition of affected building materials
-Set up and monitor dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA air filtration devices, and drying equipment
-Perform HEPA vacuuming, detailed cleaning, and remediation procedures
-Take moisture readings and document drying/remediation progress
-Maintain accurate job-site photographs and daily documentation
-Identify changing site conditions and communicate them to project management
-Maintain clean, organized, and professional work areas
-Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, contractors, and environmental consultants
-Maintain company vehicles, tools, and remediation equipment
-Ensure technicians follow company safety procedures and required PPE practices
-Help prepare projects for third-party post-remediation verification when applicable
Required Qualifications:
-Previous restoration, water mitigation, mold remediation, construction, or similar field experience
-Ability to independently perform and supervise physical field work
-Valid driver’s license
-Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment
-Comfortable wearing a respirator and working inside containment
-Able to lift approximately 50–75 lbs
-Strong attendance and reliability
-Ability to communicate clearly with customers and management
-Ability to lead at least one or two technicians on active projects
Highly Preferred:
-IICRC WRT certification
-IICRC AMRT certification
-Previous mold remediation experience
-Structural drying experience
-Experience with moisture meters and psychrometric readings
-Experience establishing negative pressure and containment
-Experience with restoration job documentation
-EPA Lead/RRP experience
-Experience working around asbestos-related project coordination
Compensation:
$23–$26/hour depending on restoration experience, certifications, leadership ability, and demonstrated ability to independently run projects.
This position has the opportunity to grow into increased project management and supervisory responsibilities as Triangle Restoration continues to expand.
