Lead Water Restoration Technician On Call

Restoration Guru is a growing restoration company seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Restoration Technician to respond to projects on an on-call basis as work becomes available. This position is ideal for someone seeking flexible supplemental work with the opportunity to transition into a full-time leadership role as the company grows.
Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to water, mold, fire, and emergency restoration projects
• Inspect affected areas and help determine the appropriate scope of work
• Perform water extraction, demolition, cleaning, containment, equipment setup, and structural drying
• Record moisture readings, photographs, equipment placement, and daily job documentation
• Lead technicians, laborers, and subcontractors when assigned
• Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and company management
• Follow IICRC standards and company safety procedures
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites

Qualifications

• Previous water mitigation or restoration experience required
• Lead Technician or Crew Chief experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of moisture meters, air movers, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, and extraction equipment
• IICRC WRT certification preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
• Ability to respond to occasional evening, weekend, and emergency calls
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work
• Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills
• Must be dependable, professional, and customer-focused

Compensation and Growth Opportunity
Restoration Guru will offer above-market hourly or per-project compensation due to the on-call nature of the position. Pay will be based on experience, certifications, availability, and ability to lead projects independently.
This position is expected to transition into a full-time Lead Technician or Crew Chief role as project volume increases.
