STARTING AT $25/HOUR

Atlantic Abatement Corporation is a well-established environmental remediation firm seeking experienced asbestos and lead abatement workers to support ongoing residential, commercial, and public-sector projects throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. We are a consistently busy company that holds itself to a high professional standard and is looking for dependable individuals who take pride in doing the job safely, correctly, and efficiently.

Position Responsibilities

Remove hazardous materials such as asbestos insulation, lead paint, mold, and other contaminants from structures following detailed protocols in accordance with all state and federal regulations
Construct, maintain, and dismantle regulated containments
Follow all PPE, respiratory protection, and safety requirements
Maintain clean, compliant, and organized job sites
Work efficiently to meet production schedules
Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, safety inspections, waste disposal records, and project progress reports.
Required / Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in asbestos and/or lead abatement

Active Asbestos Worker or Supervisor license (RI / MA / CT preferred)
Current 40-Hour Asbestos Training with annual refreshers
Current 24-Hour Lead Worker Training with annual refreshers (preferred)
RRP Certification for lead work
OSHA 10 (or higher)
Ability to pass asbestos/lead physical and fit test
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as needed
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
