Licensed Journeyman Electrician (with Solar)

Shepherd Electrical (119 S. Walnut St. in Edmond) is seeking a reliable, dependable, and knowledgeable Oklahoma Licensed Journeyman Electrician with strong residential/ solar experience. We are a small company, been in business 3 years, and there are great opportunities for growth and advancement as we grow. Excellent opportunity for someone who wants to get into management within the next couple of years.

This is a full-time W-2 position for an experienced electrician who can show up ready to work, diagnose problems, complete quality installations, and pass inspections.

Preferred Experience:
5 years of residential electrical experience
with 5 years of residential solar experience
Experience performing residential service calls
Ability to troubleshoot common electrical issues, including finding and resolving tripped breaker and GFCI problems

Preferred: completed at least 5 MPUs / panel upgrades that passed inspection
Experience completing work that has passed inspection, especially in the OKC area

Must own the tools needed to complete the job, including: Impact, Drill, Sawzall, Flashlights and standard hand tools required for residential electrical work

Must have reliable transportation and a valid DL.

The right person for this role is someone who takes pride in their work, understands residential electrical systems, has hands-on solar experience, can handle service calls independently, and knows how to complete clean, inspection-ready work.

$40/hr – 40+ hrs/ week
