Description

Licensed Pest Control Operator / Business Partner – Connecticut

Organic Pest Management Solutions (OPMS)

Compensation: Salary/commission/bonus package TBD based on experience and licensing. Potential equity/ownership opportunity for the right person.

Employment Type: Full-time / Partnership Opportunity

Experience Level: Mid-Level to Senior
Job Title: Licensed Pest Control Operator / Connecticut Expansion Partner

Organic Pest Management Solutions, an established New York pest management company, is expanding into Connecticut and is looking for a properly licensed Connecticut pest control professional who can legally perform and/or supervise pest-control applications, including mosquito and tick control and general pest-control services.

A CURRENT, APPLICABLE CONNECTICUT PESTICIDE/PEST CONTROL LICENSE IS REQUIRED.

This is more than a technician position. We are looking for someone interested in helping us build and operate our Connecticut division and potentially becoming a long-term business partner.

What We Are Looking For

Current Connecticut license/certification necessary to legally perform or supervise applicable pest-control services
Knowledge of Connecticut pesticide laws, regulations, recordkeeping, and compliance
Ability to help ensure the new Connecticut operation is properly licensed and compliant
Strong work ethic and professional reputation
Dependable, motivated, and entrepreneurial
Comfortable dealing with customers and helping develop a new territory
Sales, management, route-development, or business experience is a major plus
Previous experience working as a pest-control technician is helpful, but not required if you have the appropriate licensing and business experience
Interest in helping recruit, train, and manage technicians as the division grows
Opportunity

OPMS has been operating since 2003 and specializes in mosquito, tick, pest-control, and environmentally conscious treatment programs.

We are looking for the right person to help establish a significant Connecticut presence.

For the right candidate, compensation could include:

Competitive salary or guaranteed compensation

Commission
Performance bonuses
Profit-sharing
Management responsibility
Potential equity/ownership in the Connecticut operation

We are particularly interested in someone who thinks like a business owner, not simply an employee.

If you are already licensed in Connecticut and have ever considered operating your own pest-control business—but would prefer to partner with an established company providing branding, marketing, infrastructure, operational support, and capital—this could be an excellent opportunity.

Serious inquiries only. Connecticut license is required.

Please respond with your name, phone number, current Connecticut licenses/certifications, pest-control experience, business or management background, and a brief description of what you are looking for professionally.
