Description
Seeking an experienced, licensed new construction plumber to support active residential and commercial building projects in the Tampa Bay area. This assignment is filled through a local staffing agency, with the opportunity to convert to a longer-term or permanent role based on performance and project needs.
The plumber will perform rough-in, installation, and finish work on new construction sites, work independently or as part of a crew, and coordinate with other trades while maintaining Florida Building Code and local inspection standards.
- Install water supply, drain-waste-vent (DWV), and related piping during the rough-in phase of new residential and commercial construction.
- Set and connect fixtures, water heaters, and other plumbing components in later construction phases.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
- Ensure all work meets Florida plumbing codes, local amendments, and inspection requirements.
- Coordinate with general contractors, framers, electricians, and other trades to maintain project schedules.
- Perform quality checks, pressure tests, and prepare systems for inspections.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site; use and maintain tools and equipment properly.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
