LICENSED RESIDENTIAL CONCRETE SUBCONTRACTOR OPPORTUNITY

Evergreen Home Exteriors is seeking qualified concrete subcontractors to perform residential concrete work on remodeling, renovation, and new construction projects throughout Western Washington.

Projects may include, but are not limited to:

• Demolition, removal, and disposal of existing concrete.
• Site preparation, excavation, grading, and compaction.
• Forming, reinforcing, placing, finishing, and curing concrete.
• Driveways and driveway extensions.
• Sidewalks, walkways, and pathways.
• Patios and outdoor living spaces.
• Garage and shop slabs.
• Shed and accessory structure slabs.
• RV pads and parking pads.
• Concrete steps and landings.
• Footings and foundations for residential structures where applicable.
• Retaining wall footings and related concrete work.
• Decorative, stamped, broom-finished, exposed aggregate, and colored concrete.
• Concrete repair, replacement, resurfacing, and restoration.
• Installation of control joints, expansion joints, drains, and other project-specific components.
• Final site cleanup and proper disposal of construction debris.

Subcontractors are expected to furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials necessary to complete assigned work unless otherwise specified in writing. All work must be performed in accordance with approved plans, applicable building codes, manufacturer specifications, industry standards, OSHA and WISHA safety requirements, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered, subcontractors must:

• Operate as an independently established business.
• Maintain an active Washington State Contractor Registration in good standing.
• Possess a valid Washington State UBI number.
• Maintain all required state and local business licenses.
• Carry current Commercial General Liability Insurance and provide proof of coverage upon request.
• Name Evergreen Home Exteriors as an Additional Insured when required by contract.
• Maintain an active Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) account.
• Ensure all owners, employees, and workers performing work are properly covered by Washington State workers' compensation insurance through L&I or are otherwise legally exempt under Washington law.
• Provide all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials necessary to perform contracted work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, building codes, permit requirements, OSHA regulations, and Washington Industrial Safety and Health Act (WISHA) requirements.
• Maintain a safe and professional jobsite at all times.

Independent Contractor Status

This opportunity is strictly for independent subcontractors and is not employment.

Subcontractors shall retain control over the means, methods, scheduling, supervision, and performance of their work and shall be responsible for their own business operations, personnel, payroll, taxes, workers' compensation premiums, unemployment insurance obligations, insurance coverage, licensing, and regulatory compliance.

Evergreen Home Exteriors will not provide employee benefits, workers' compensation coverage, unemployment benefits, tax withholding, tools, vehicles, or equipment for subcontractors or their workers.

Required Documentation

Prior to performing any work, subcontractors must provide:

• Washington State Contractor Registration Number
• UBI Number
• Certificate of General Liability Insurance
• Verification of active L&I coverage
• W-9
• Signed Subcontractor Agreement
• Signed Indemnification Agreement
• Any additional documentation required by contract or law

Compensation

Compensation is project-based and negotiated on a per-project basis. Evergreen Home Exteriors is seeking established subcontracting businesses that provide their own labor, supervision, tools, equipment, insurance, and workers' compensation coverage. Pricing will be determined through accepted bids, negotiated rates, or written work orders depending on the project scope.
