Licensed Residential Plumber - Help Build and Lead New Plumbing Dept.

Evergreen Home Heating and Energy is looking for an experienced, licensed plumber who wants more than another plumbing job.

We are an established, family-owned home-services company that has served Seattle-area homeowners since 1975. After building a strong reputation in residential heating, cooling, and electrification, we are preparing to expand into residential plumbing.

Our first step is hiring the right person to help us build it.

This position will initially focus primarily on residential water-heater replacements, including conventional gas and electric equipment and heat-pump water heaters. You will also work directly with Evergreen’s leadership to establish the processes, standards, and resources needed to grow a successful residential plumbing department.

This is not an established plumbing division with someone else’s systems already in place. You will have a meaningful voice in how the department is built. At the same time, you will not be starting alone. Evergreen already has an established brand, a large residential customer base, professional office support, sales and marketing resources, and more than 50 years of experience serving local homeowners.

For the right person, this position offers a genuine path toward becoming Evergreen’s plumbing leader as the department grows.

What you’ll do:

· Evaluate and replace residential water heaters

· Help homeowners select the right water-heating solutions for their homes

· Complete clean, safe, code-compliant installations

· Provide the high level of communication and customer care Evergreen is known for

· Help establish installation procedures, pricing, material standards, and quality controls

· Assist with permitting, inspections, and plumbing compliance requirements

· Recommend the equipment, tools, inventory, and training needed to support the department

· Help recruit, train, and lead additional plumbing team members as demand grows

What we’re looking for:

· An active Washington PL01 or PL02 license

· Strong residential plumbing and water-heater experience

· Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and installation requirements

· Excellent workmanship and attention to detail

· The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners

· Someone dependable, organized, and comfortable working independently

· Leadership experience or a strong interest in growing into a leadership role

· A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Compensation: $50–$65 per hour, depending on experience, licensing, and leadership qualifications. Additional performance incentives may be available as the department develops.
