Light Auto Service Technician

Full-Time
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM (5-day work week)

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Light Auto Service Technician to join our team in Canton, Michigan. In this role, you will perform routine maintenance and basic automotive services to keep vehicles safe, reliable, and running efficiently. This is a great opportunity for entry-level to experienced technicians looking for consistent hours and growth potential.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks
• Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, batteries, and filters
• Mount, balance, and repair tires
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with team members or service advisors

**Qualifications:**

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous automotive service experience is a plus (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
• Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

**Physical Requirements:**

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and shop conditions
