THE ROLE

LTT Partners is looking for an Oregon licensed Limited Energy Technician, LEA, to support low voltage and technology installation projects across Oregon.

In this role, you will install, troubleshoot, service, and support limited energy systems including structured cabling, network infrastructure, security cameras, access control, alarms, guest management systems, intercoms, connectivity, and related commercial technology systems.

You will work closely with Technical Project Managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, professionally, and according to scope.

This is a field-based role for someone who understands the importance of quality workmanship, accurate documentation, code compliance, customer communication, and reliable execution.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and service low voltage and limited energy systems
  • Perform structured cabling, device installation, rack installation, network equipment installation, security camera installation, access control installation, alarm system installation, guest management installation, intercom installation, and related field tasks
  • Install and support cloud-managed technology platforms such as Verkada, Meter, Ubiquiti, Axis, Avigilon, Rhombus, and similar systems
  • Read and interpret scopes of work, drawings, floor plans, device layouts, cable schedules, and project documentation
  • Perform site walks, field assessments, installation planning, and punch list completion
  • Coordinate with Technical Project Managers to confirm scope, materials, schedule, site readiness, and project requirements
  • Lead or support field installation crews and subcontractors when needed
  • Ensure work is performed safely, cleanly, and in compliance with applicable Oregon code requirements and project standards
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, device, cabling, power, configuration, alarm, access control, camera, intercom, and networking issues
  • Document completed work, including photos, markups, device information, cable labels, test results, as-builts, and closeout notes
  • Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal team members
  • Identify field issues, scope gaps, change order needs, material shortages, or schedule risks early
  • Support service calls, warranty work, system upgrades, and post-installation support
  • Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, materials, and jobsite professionalism

  • Installations are clean, reliable, and completed according to scope
  • Projects move forward with strong communication and minimal rework
  • Technical Project Managers have accurate field updates and documentation
  • Security cameras, access control, alarms, networking, guest management, and intercom systems are installed, tested, documented, and ready for client use
  • Clients are confident in the quality of the installation and the professionalism of the team
  • Punch list items, warranty issues, and support needs are resolved quickly
  • Code, safety, and licensing requirements are respected on every job
  • Field issues are identified early and communicated clearly
REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Oregon Limited Energy Technician Class A, LEA, license
  • Hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, and servicing low voltage or limited energy systems
  • Experience with security cameras, access control, alarms, networking, guest management systems, intercoms, structured cabling, telecommunications, or related systems
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, floor plans, scopes of work, and installation documentation
  • Basic networking knowledg
