Live-in handyman (free rent+$300 a month)

We live in a historic mansion. We don’t have the time or skills to restore the property as we would like. We realize this is definitely a long-shot, but if there are any skilled handymen out there we can provide a free room, plus $300 a month to work on the house. To start it would be a 3 month contract. We wouldn’t expect this to be full-time by any stretch, just enough to start getting the place to where we can host events. This is a historic property so some experience with preservation would be a huge plus.

The house has already come a long way since we bought it and is pretty comfortable. Currently a few people (and cats) live here. House is big enough that it does not feel crowded at all.

The main thing we need is fixing up some of the walls, painting, basic landscaping, fixing some of the doors, refurbishing a few fixtures, installing showers in a couple bathrooms, and maybe doing some remodeling in the kitchen. If you can do that for $300ish a month without moving in we’d be open to that as well, but we would want to make sure it’s done on a reasonable timeline. (We like our current handyman but he’s very busy and we still have holes in our walls).
