LIVE-IN PROPERTY CARETAKER / HANDYMAN – PRIVATE TINY HOME PROVIDED

We are looking for a reliable, experienced handyman and property caretaker for a long-term live-in position on our private 23-acre property in the Santa Cruz Mountains near Los Gatos.

A private, fully equipped tiny home is provided. It includes:

• Private bathroom with shower
• Kitchen area
• Hot and cold water
• Electricity
• Heating system
• Propane
• Comfortable living conditions
• Private entrance

Responsibilities may include:

• General property maintenance
• Small building and household repairs
• Lawn mowing and landscaping
• Gardening and irrigation maintenance
• Tree and brush maintenance
• Operating tools and equipment, including chainsaws and a log splitter
• Preferably operating a small Kubota tractor
• Keeping the grounds clean, organized, and well maintained
• Helping care for chickens and rabbits
• Possible future care of goats

This position is ideal for a retired or semi-retired person who enjoys country living, is physically capable, knows how to use tools and equipment safely, and would like to stay long-term and make this place their home.

Experience with handyman work, gardening, property maintenance, farming, animals, or rural living would be a big plus.

There is also the possibility of regular paid work or full-time employment, depending on experience, skills, availability, and the arrangement we agree upon.
