Local Journeyman Electrician

Lead Journeyman Electrician — $40–$55/Hour

Santa Cruz County / San Jose | Long-Term Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced journeyman-level electrician to lead residential and commercial projects. We want someone who takes pride in clean workmanship, communicates well, and wants to grow with our company.

What we’re looking for:

Valid journeyman card, or actively working toward obtaining it.

Strong residential and commercial experience, with the ability to lead jobs, troubleshoot, and work independently.

Clean driving record and eligibility for company vehicle insurance.

Based in Santa Cruz County or San Jose. Relocation assistance may be available.

Personable, dependable, and professional, with a neat appearance and strong communication skills.

Consistently clean, organized work that you’re proud to put your name on.

Workplace expectations:

We maintain a drug- and alcohol-free workplace and conduct drug testing. Off-duty THC use is acceptable, but use or impairment at work is not. We have zero tolerance for alcohol or drug use on the job.

Interview process:

The first interview will be over Zoom, followed by an in-person interview. Applicants should be prepared to share photos of previous work and complete both a written assessment and a hands-on skills test that includes conduit bending.

Pay and growth:

Pay is $40–$55 per hour, depending on experience and skills assessment results. If your qualifications and pay expectations exceed this range, we still encourage you to apply—we may have another role that fits your experience.

This is a long-term opportunity with room to grow into management.
