LOCK STARS LLC — LOCKSMITH TECHNICIAN

Location: Cincinnati Metro Area

Lock Stars LLC is looking for reliable, motivated people to join our team as Locksmith Technicians.

We are open to both experienced locksmiths and people with no locksmith experience. No experience is necessary for the right candidate — we will train you.

POSITION DETAILS

• Full-time
• 1099 independent contractor position
• On-call 5–6 days per week
• Must have a flexible schedule
• Travel throughout the Cincinnati metro area directly to customers
• Automotive, residential and commercial locksmith work
• Emergency and time-sensitive locksmith calls
• Company provides locksmith tools, key machines and programming equipment
• Company vehicle option available, or technician may use their own vehicle
• Experienced locksmiths may qualify for a higher percentage
• Performance bonuses available based on quality of work, customer reviews, sales and overall performance
• Earning potential up to $80,000 per year. This is not a salary position and earnings are not guaranteed.

TRAINING

No locksmith experience is required.

Training is 2 days. The second day of training is paid.

We are looking for people who are fast learners, comfortable working with their hands and able to learn multiple locksmith services and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED
• Reliable transportation to training/work
• Reliable mobile device
• Comfortable using smartphone apps, GPS, taking photos and providing job updates
• Able to multitask
• Fast learner
• Flexible availability
• Dependable and punctual
• Able to work independently in the field
• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Must speak clear English
• Professional appearance and good hygiene
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable bending, carrying equipment and working around vehicles and doors
• Able to work outdoors in different weather conditions
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Applicants should expect a background check
• Drug screening may be required

EXPERIENCE

Previous locksmith experience is a plus, but it is NOT required.

Experienced automotive, residential and commercial locksmiths are encouraged to apply. We are also interested in dependable people who are mechanically inclined and willing to learn.
