Locksmith and Security Technician/Apprentice

We are a well-established full service locksmith and security company seeking an
experienced, full time locksmith with strong sales and customer service skills.

This position consists of, but not limited to:

• Customer service
• Cutting new or duplicate keys and stamps with identification
• Installing, servicing, and repairing various types of locks and security devices
• Disassembling locks; repair and replace worn tumblers, springs, and other parts
• Moving heavy safes via specialized equipment and training

Skills/Qualifications:

• Ability to use a variety of machinery and tools, such as key cutting machines and drills
• A strong understanding of various types of locking systems and hardware
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Communication and social skills
• Sufficient manual dexterity to use tools and manipulate locking devices
• Flexibility to work both independently and within a team
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various condition
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking

Qualifications and Experience:

•High School Diploma or GED equivalent
•A valid Driver’s License
•Ability to pass a detailed background investigation
