About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Locksmith Apprentice to join our team. This is a hands-on training position where you will learn the trade under the guidance of experienced locksmiths. You will gain practical skills in lock installation, repair, key cutting, security systems, and customer service while working toward becoming a fully qualified locksmith.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior locksmiths with residential, commercial, and automotive lock work
• Learn and perform lock installation, repair, rekeying, and key duplication
• Help with emergency lockout services
• Maintain tools, inventory, and company vehicles in good condition
• Provide friendly, professional customer service
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Complete required training and documentation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and take direction
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (clean driving record preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Good communication skills and professional appearance
• Background check required (clean criminal record preferred due to the nature of the work)
• Previous experience in trades, hardware, or customer service is a plus but not required
