looking for automotive technician / mechnic / b-tech

Clark's Car Care is looking for a full time auto mechanic. We're losing one of our men and need to replace him. We'd like to have a B-tech who doesn't shy away from light diagnostic. Bonus if you're good with small engines, boats, forklifts, loaders, welders, etc, but not expected. This is an hourly position, M-F, 8-5, pay negotiable ( starting pay listed, keep reading ), no insurances ( some available through Aflac ), 6 paid holidays, lunch bought on Friday. Very little overtime outside of the 8-5 timeframe, very occasional weekends ( a few times a year, for cleanup days, preparation days, etc ). However, we do not discourage overtime on a reasonable basis if needed or desired.

Up front - this is NOT a position for anyone who cannot deal with the general public. Clark's Car Care tries very hard to provide "good, old fashioned" services and you will have to talk to a customer HERE AND THERE and are expected to provide good customer service when engaged, with no one barking at you to get back to the cars when doing so.

We'd also like to note that this is *not* an aggressive work environment. We expect the work done right at the expense of speed, within reason, and we work together to get that done in all aspects while trying to also be instructional where possible. We want you to learn. Also, bring your own tools, knowing we have plenty available. We don't judge if you have a minimalist setup, as long as you procure tools you use all the time as you go.

Clark's Car Care works on all makes and models and does most kinds of work - generalist to the max. Collision repair, mobility vans, rust repair, structural repair, motor swaps, top motor rework, transmission swaps, tires, alignment, suspension, drivetrain, domestics, foreign, diesels, all manner of box trucks, antiques ( including carbed, domestic or foreign ), etc, along with all regular services! No sweat if you're not familiar with it all.
