Independent Contractor / Owner-Operator (Class A CDL)

Location: Statewide Alaska routes (Local, Regional, and Long-Haul)

Compensation: Competitive percentage / load-based settlement; paid upon job completion with verified POD
Position Overview

We are seeking dependable, experienced Class A CDL Owner-Operators to partner with our freight network across Alaska. From statewide grocery distribution and temperature-controlled freight to heavy equipment and flatbed transport, we keep freight moving year-round.

We offer consistent, year-round volume tailored to driver capability—ranging from high-frequency regional runs to specialized long-haul lanes, including routes to Haines and remote corridors for experienced operators.
Freight Capabilities & Opportunities

Refrigerated & Dry Freight: Consistent scheduled grocery distribution and reefer lanes statewide.

Flatbed & Heavy Haul: Machinery moves, construction freight, and specialized industrial equipment.

Diverse Route Options: Indra-state corridors and extended regional runs based on driver experience and preference.

Requirements & Qualifications

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Proven commercial driving experience, with solid Alaskan winter-driving and mountain pass competency.

Verified commercial auto liability and cargo insurance meeting operating standards.

Current DOT Medical Card and ability to pass FMCSA pre-employment screenings.

Strong commitment to safety, cargo securement, and on-time delivery.

Equipment Options

Owner-Supplied: Independent contractors must operate compliant, well-maintained power units and/or trailers.

Equipment Lease Available: Well-maintained equipment is available for lease if you require power units or specialty trailers to get started.
