Job Summary:
We are seeking a certified Lead Technician / Supervisor specializing in engine repair and diagnostics. While you will still handle advanced diagnostics, your primary and most important responsibility will be to supervise, guide, and mentor our shop apprentices. If you are a mechanic who wants to transition away from high-stress flat-rate rushing and move into a stable, salaried mentorship role with regular daytime hours, this position is for you.

Core Responsibilities:
Supervise Apprentices: Oversee the daily work of entry-level mechanics and apprentices; ensure all safety protocols and quality metrics are met.Quality Control: Inspect completed mechanical and engine repair jobs before the vehicle is released to the customer.Advanced Diagnostics: Step in to troubleshoot complex engine issues that require an advanced, certified skill set.Training & Mentorship: Teach troubleshooting techniques, proper tool usage, and efficient repair processes to junior staff.

Job Requirements:
Active Certification: Must hold a valid ASE A1 (Engine Repair) certificate or be an AATI (American Advanced Technicians Institute)
