Pay: Based on Experience

T&M DataCom Services L.L.C. is looking for a dependable and motivated Low Voltage Installer / Technician to join our growing team. We work on a wide variety of commercial and industrial projects throughout the Cincinnati area and surrounding region.

Some low-voltage or construction experience is preferred. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn, works well with a team, and takes pride in doing clean, professional work.

Job Responsibilities

Pull, route, support, and dress Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, fiber, coax, and other low-voltage cabling

Install J-hooks, cable supports, conduit, raceway, and related hardware

Terminate and test data and voice cabling

Install and terminate patch panels, jacks, faceplates, and racks

Assist with security camera and NVR installations

Assist with access control, card readers, door strikes, mag locks, and request-to-exit devices

Assist with fire alarm and BDA system installations when required

Install wireless access points and networking equipment

Install speakers, TVs, and other audio/video equipment

Label and test completed cabling

Troubleshoot basic cabling and low-voltage issues

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Work safely on ladders, lifts, and active job sites

Follow instructions from Lead Technicians and project management

Qualifications

Some low-voltage, electrical, construction, or related experience preferred

Experience pulling and terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cable is a plus

Camera, access control, fire alarm, BDA, fiber, or AV experience is a plus

Comfortable using hand and power tools

Ability to work from ladders and lifts

Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Dependable, professional, and willing to learn

Must be able to arrive at job sites on time
