Full-time | $22–30/hour, commensurate with experience
OVERVIEW
As our Millwork Specialist, you will be the expert behind the machines, precisely shaping and cutting wood according to specifications. This role requires selecting the appropriate tools, maintaining a keen eye on quality, and operating a variety of equipment including saws, planers, and shapers. There will also be opportunities for hands-on finishing touches and assembly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DAILY TASKS
Machine Operation & Maintenance
- Operate and set up woodworking machines: saws, planers, jigsaws, jointers, shapers, routers, and sanders.
- Adjust settings, select the correct tools, and ensure smooth operation through routine maintenance, including oiling, cleaning, and part replacement.
- Load and unload wood and move materials throughout the milling process.
- Accurately pull, load, and deliver lumber to local job sites, and assist customers with pickup orders.
- Safely lift and handle large pieces of lumber and building materials (90+ lbs).
- Verify work for accuracy and make necessary adjustments.
- Identify and resolve issues with machines, materials, or production.
- Understand detailed drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate project execution.
- Assist customers in bringing their custom woodworking projects to fruition.
- Perform precise cutting, shaping, and molding of wood using various machines.
- Prepare surfaces for finishing through sanding.
- Assemble components using fasteners, glue, and other methods.
- Demonstrate knowledge of wood types, grades, and cutting tools for each project.
• Adhere strictly to all safety rules and regulations.

SCHEDULE, PAY & BENEFITS
This is a full-time position with hours to be determined. Some Saturdays may be required.
Pay: $22–30 per hour, commensurate with experience.
