Machine operator needed for septic company (seasonal/ as needed)

Job Responsibilities:
-Operate mini and large excavators safely and efficiently.
-Excavate for new septic system installations, septic tank replacements, and repairs
-Dig around existing utilities using proper excavation techniques.
-Fine grade, backfill, and restore job sites.
-Load and unload equipment and materials.
-Perform daily equipment inspections, fueling, greasing, and routine maintenance.
-Work closely with laborers, foremen, and installers to complete projects safely and on schedule.
-Assist with manual labor including shoveling, grading, setting tanks, pipe installation, and cleanup when equipment is not in use.
-Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
-Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety procedures.

Qualifications
-2+ years of excavator operating experience required
-Experience excavating around underground utilities.
-Septic installation or underground utility experience preferred.
-Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus.
-Ability to lift 75 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
-Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience. This is a W-2 position, and all wages are paid through payroll.
