Machine Shop Helper / CNC Trainee – $18/hr – Will Train

Local CNC machine shop looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined person who wants to learn machining.

No CNC experience required. We will train the right person.

Starting pay is $18/hr, with raises as you learn. Someone who becomes a capable CNC operator and learns measuring, tool changes, offsets, bar jobs and roll threading can progress to $22+/hr. There is additional room to grow as you learn setups and more advanced machining.

This could be a good fit if you have experience with cars, motorcycles, tools, mechanics, welding, fabrication, construction, maintenance, warehouse equipment or just like working with your hands.

Work includes operating CNC machines, measuring parts, loading material, changing tools, removing chips, cleaning machines, organizing work areas and helping with general shop work.

We care more about attitude and mechanical ability than machining experience.
