Island Stays Hawaii is one of Oahu's fastest-growing short and mid-term rental property management companies, and we're looking for a reliable, skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team full-time. This is a hands-on role — you'll be the person we call when something needs to get fixed, and you'll take pride in keeping our properties in five-star condition.

This isn't a desk job. You'll be on the ground across our Oahu portfolio, handling the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep that keeps our properties performing and our owners happy.

**What You'll Do**

• Handle general handyman work across our STR and MTR portfolio — patching, painting, furniture assembly, minor repairs, fixture replacements, touch-ups, and anything in between
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and see jobs through to completion
• Conduct property inspections and identify issues before they become problems
• Coordinate with our operations team on scheduling and prioritization
• Source materials and supplies as needed
• Document completed work with photos and notes
• Communicate clearly with the team on job status and any issues that arise
• Know your limits — escalate electrical, plumbing, and specialty work to licensed contractors

**You're a Great Fit If You:**

• Have hands-on experience in general maintenance, handyman work, or a related trade
• Are reliable, self-directed, and take ownership of your work
• Can manage multiple properties and tasks without dropping the ball
• Have a valid Hawaii driver's license and reliable transportation
• Communicate clearly — via text, phone, or app
• Take pride in quality work and hold yourself to a high standard
• Are comfortable working in occupied units and treating guest spaces with care
