MAINTENANCE HANDYMAN / MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Sybaris Pool Suites in Mequon, WI is seeking a dependable, experienced, and hands-on Maintenance Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our team.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is comfortable handling a variety of maintenance and repair responsibilities. Hotel, resort, apartment, or commercial property maintenance experience is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and minor HVAC troubleshooting
• Complete preventative maintenance throughout the property
• Inspect and maintain guest suites, mechanical areas, and property equipment
• Perform daily maintenance of private swimming pools and whirlpools, including water testing, chemical balancing, cleaning, and recordkeeping
• Troubleshoot and repair pool and whirlpool equipment as needed
• Maintain exterior areas, lighting, walkways, parking areas, and general property appearance
• Assist with seasonal duties including snow removal and salting
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests
• Assist with moving furniture, trash removal, room setup, and light cleaning when needed
• Inspect suites before guest arrival to ensure Sybaris standards are met
• Identify and report safety concerns or major equipment problems to management
• Assist other departments when necessary to keep the property operating efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, carpentry, and general repairs
• Pool, whirlpool, or water-system experience strongly preferred
• HVAC experience or certification is a plus
• CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification is a plus, or willingness to obtain certification
• Must be comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical work
• Must be available for flexible scheduling, including weekends and occasional on-call needs

RESPONSABILIDADES

• Realizar reparaciones generales de plomería, electricidad, carpintería, pintura y HVAC básico
• Realizar mantenimiento preventivo de la propiedad
• Inspeccionar y mantener suites, áreas mecánicas y equipos
• Realizar mantenimiento diario de piscinas privadas y jacuzzis, incluyendo pruebas de agua, balance de químicos, limpieza y registros
• Identificar y reparar problemas con equipos de piscinas y jacuzzis
• Mantener áreas exteriores, iluminación, estacionamientos, aceras y la apariencia general de la propiedad
• Ayudar con remoción de nieve y aplicación de sal durante el invierno
• Responder rápidamente y de manera profesional a solicitudes de mantenimiento de huéspedes
• Ayudar a mover muebles, retirar basura, preparar habitaciones y realizar limpieza ligera cuando sea necesario
