Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies; conduct safety audits and training sessions regularly.
Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, including planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and timeline management.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance procedures, repairs, inspections, and safety compliance using Microsoft Office tools and CMMS software.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate shutdowns or repairs with minimal disruption to manufacturing operations.
Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies; order replacements as needed to ensure readiness for scheduled or emergency repairs.
Train team members on proper maintenance repair procedures, schematic reading, electrical testing (including use of ohmmeters), and safety practices.
Skills

Proven management experience leading facilities or industrial maintenance teams in manufacturing environments.
Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in mechanical systems repair, HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems—including high voltage—and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and electrical experience including low voltage applications.

Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations; ability to implement safety protocols effectively across teams.
Project management skills with a track record of successfully overseeing maintenance projects from inception to completion within budget and timeline constraints.
Excellent leadership abilities with supervising experience; capable of motivating teams while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills in English; able to clearly articulate technical issues to diverse audiences.
Ability to perform electrical testing using tools such as ohmmeters; understanding high voltage versus low voltage systems is essential.
