Maintenance Tech (1099 Contractor)

We are looking for an experienced 1099 independent contractor to join our property management firm as a maintenance technician. The work involves ongoing renovations and general upkeep of multiple buildings in the Koreatown and Hollywood area.

Hours are flexible. We can build a schedule around your availability, whether that's full-time five days a week or part-time.

We are specifically seeking someone with strong plumbing knowledge. Additional experience in general maintenance is highly desirable, including framing, waterproofing, tiling, drywall removal and installation, patching, mudding, sanding, painting, minor electrical work, door and window screen repair and reinstallation.

Compensation is $25 to $27 per hour, based on experience. This is a 1099 contractor position and payment is made every other Friday.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on plumbing and maintenance experience. Must live in Los Angeles and have a reliable vehicle (truck or van preferred). A resume with detailed work history is required, and references will be requested and checked. General Contractors will not be considered.
