Maintenance Tech - $30-35/hr + Vehicle Allowance + Bonus

St. Laurent Properties is a family-owned commercial property company established in 1972. We own and manage a portfolio of commercial buildings in Hillsboro, OR and Vancouver, WA, and we're looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our team.

COMPENSATION & VEHICLE ALLOWANCE

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour (based on experience). Full-time, W-2.
Vehicle allowance: $250/month plus gas - you'll travel between properties, and we cover the cost. This is on top of your hourly pay.
Discretionary annual bonus based on goal achievement. This bonus is at the company's discretion and is not guaranteed.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a general maintenance position across our commercial properties. The majority of your work (approximately 75%) will be in Hillsboro, OR, with the remainder in Vancouver, WA. You'll handle a wide variety of tasks - no two days are the same.

This is commercial property maintenance, not apartment turns or pool cleaning. You'll work across different types of buildings with a variety of hands-on tasks and real autonomy in your day.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs across multiple commercial properties
• Diagnose and repair issues with heating, electrical, plumbing, and water systems
• Install and repair fixtures, appliances, and building systems
• Pressure washing, painting, and minor concrete work
• Safely operate power tools and equipment trailers
• Respond to occasional maintenance emergencies (this is not a nightly on-call rotation - emergencies are infrequent)

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Working knowledge of plumbing, heating, HVAC, and basic electrical systems
• Several years of experience in property maintenance or building trades preferred
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Physically able to bend, crouch, and lift as needed
• Flexible availability for the occasional emergency
