Maintenance Technician
Description
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Plumbing replacement and repair of faucets, tubs, sinks, garbage disposers, valves, waste lines, toilets and vanity tops
- Service or replace stoves, hoods, wall heaters (gas and electric) dishwashers, fans (including ceiling), and exhaust
- Repair and replace light fixtures, switches, outlets, etc.
- Woodwork, replace and repair cabinets, doors, kitchen counters, fences, patios, windows, wood siding, wood facia, etc.
- Demolition removal of all fences, patios, old tubs, old cabinets, kitchen counters, and minor termite damage
- All necessary repairs to make the apartments ready to rent
- Painting when needed
- Special projects as needed
ACCEPTABLE EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
At least 3+ years experience as a maintenance person in a multi-family and/or commercial setting. Must possess a valid driver’s license and all the necessary documents required by the government for employment. Must be physically able to lift at least 40 lbs. Must have a vehicle in good working order to get from property to property.
