Maintenance Technician

I am looking for someone having the necessary skills for the replacement of various stages of renovation. Projects like floor coverings (tile or vinyl) as well as installation of cabinets, countertops, toilets, replacement of tubs, surrounds and of course painting and trim. Basically a full range of general maintenance usually sectioned into single projects.

Prospective applicants must be responsible for the care of tools used and maintain a clean work area. Cleaning and taking care of any tools provided insures that they are well maintained, organized and ready for use the next time they are needed. Tools and materials must be stored at the end of each day (paint buckets sealed, tools cleaned and stowed etc.).

I need someone reliable, healthy and who enjoys maintenance. I expect someone to be at work on time, healthy and performing their work. I'm not hiring people with drug or alcohol issues or who have a propensity for calling in “sick” every other day (or otherwise unreliable). I am an easy to work for person, but I will not allow anyone to take advantage of my good nature...

Anyone familiar with maintenance or general construction and are interested should consider that I will be able to keep you comfortably busy throughout the winter months. A great off season position that would get you comfortably to the spring season when things pick back up again. This is a full time position.
