Maintenance Technician

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour (DOE)

Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working in a beautiful environment? The Riviera Country Club is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Maintenance Technician to help maintain one of the country's most prestigious private clubs.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in general building maintenance, repairs, light construction, and preventative maintenance who enjoys solving problems and working as part of a collaborative team.

What You'll Do

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll help ensure our facilities remain safe, functional, and member-ready by:

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, plumbing, electrical systems, doors, fixtures, and other club facilities.
Conducting preventative maintenance inspections to identify and resolve issues before they become larger repairs.
Maintaining and repairing building systems, including HVAC equipment, kitchen equipment, plumbing, lighting, and mechanical systems.
Completing light carpentry, painting, drywall repairs, minor construction projects, and facility improvements.
Responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs to minimize disruptions.
Operating maintenance equipment, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently.
Maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and notifying management when materials need replenishing.
Keeping accurate maintenance records and documenting completed work.
Working closely with the Engineering team and other departments to support daily club operations.
Following all safety policies and helping maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Performing other duties as assigned by the Assistant Project Manager and Facilities Manager.
What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

Experience in general building maintenance, facilities maintenance, construction, or a related trade preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general repairs.
Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record (required).
Ability to speak, read, and write in English to communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and vendors.
Strong work ethic, reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
Ability to lift up to 85 lbs. and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Hospitality or country club maintenance experience is a plus, but not required.
